Flash Stories for Flash People (Working Title)

This fun project is for the true short fiction lover!
 

• Stories should be no longer than about 500 words. Obviously we understand that sometimes you need a bit more than that, so don't worry if your story comes in at 600. Pieces that are less than 200 words will have the hardest time being accepted.

• All genres are acceptable (except hardcore porn style erotica). It is preferred that submissions have speculative elements (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, etc); comedy is also high on the list of desirable criteria. Make us laugh and you're in with a very good chance of being accepted.

• THIS IS NOT A PAYING MARKET. THE BOOK WILL LIKELY BE SOLD FOR A VERY SMALL AMOUNT (PERHAPS EVEN GIVEN AWAY FOR FREE) AND ANY MONEY THAT IS GENERATED IS INTENDED TO HELP FINANCE OTHER PROJECTS. CURRENTLY ALL EXPENSES ARE BEING MET BY ONE PERSON AND THAT IS NOT GOING TO BE SUSTAINABLE.

Some biographies are longer than the submissions so it doesn't seem appropriate to have them in the book.
